Laboratory Tube Writer
What we’re looking for:
Within a laboratory setting, your responsibilities will include labeling various supplies for specimen collection in a pre-clinical research setting using excel and specific tube writing software and machines. These supplies include collection tubes, necropsy cassettes, well plates, and other forms of collection materials. It will not only be your job to prepare requests at the due date provided, but confirm collections requests against the study plan, monitor the instrumentation and perform required maintenance, and maintain label supplies for upcoming orders. You will frequently prepare collection supplies for clinical pathology, toxicokinetics, analytical, and necropsy analysis. In addition, you may assist with the analysis of various samples in the laboratory, including urinalysis, chemistry, hematology, and coagulation analysis.
What you’ll need:
An Associate Degree is preferred with a strong preference for related experience or a Bachelor Degree in the science field. Someone with hands on experience in a research lab will thrive in this role and quickly advance to take on more duties within a growing clinical pathology lab.
